Speculative application
If you believe you would fit in here but there is no advertised position for it: get in touch anyway. In a company this size a role sometimes comes about because the right person asks.
Working environment
Why work at EMU Electronic?
The company has existed since 1989, and the world’s first digital electricity meter came from here in 1990. Devices from our production run in office towers in Riyadh and Dubai and in hydroelectric power stations. What is built here stays in service for a long time – and that shapes how it is developed.
Short paths instead of quarterly cycles
Whoever is responsible for a function sits in the same building as the person who supports it. A revision is therefore a matter of weeks, not quarters.
What that means in practice
- Hardware, manufacturing and the test bench in house
- A direct line to the help desk and therefore to real faults
- Products with a ten-year service life instead of throwaway cycles
- A small team, and correspondingly little coordination overhead
- Baar location, station around eight minutes’ walk away
